More and more credit card issuers provide free credit scores to their customers, like Discover and Chase. Some websites, such as The CreditKarma, will display your score for free, which you will find also at various other loan pre-approval and credit monitoring sites.

While the credit score was kept hidden for several years, no one other than lenders could know about it, now nearly everybody can get access to their scores with a few simple clicks.
